SET TARGET :
Establishing a complex comprising two buildings one for activities and storage, the other for offices and service rooms ina developing ZAC. Taking into consideration the overall dimensions of the complex as well as potential noise and visual pollution.
THE SOLUTION OFFERED BY SUD ARCHITECTES :
An architectural treatment which increases the site's identity while minimising its noise and visual impact. The two facades feature an inverted siding made of horizontal wooden and metal strips which exhibits and affirms the industrial / tertiary duality and segments the purpose of the blocks. The delivery docks are integrated into the 'interior' facades, and on the public domain side, a planted strip in the lower section creates a continuity between the surrounding open areas.
