Champ de Mars - Valence (26 - France)

Residence

SET TARGET :
Replacement of a school building extension with an inner-city housing solution within the framework of the renovation of a neighbourhood (Place Aristide Briand/Parc Jouvet), with due respect to the surrounding architecture.

THE SOLUTION OFFERED BY SUD ARCHITECTES :
Making the choice of elegance, remaining open to others while preserving each person's intimacy. The residential building, which consists of 18 apartments on six floors (ground floor + 5 floors), and three detached split-level houses are grouped around a fragrant garden which creates a beautiful setting for the old lime tree. Unaffected stone cladding, real wood and transparent glass reinforce the building's up-market character.
