CLS and Air Liquide - Saint-Priest (69 - France)

Construction of office buildings and warehouses

SET TARGET :
Regrouping, on a single plot of the 'Parc des Lumières' in Saint-Priest, the administrative offices, the service quarters and the warehouses of two companies, CLS and Air Liquide.

THE SOLUTION OFFERED BY SUD ARCHITECTES :
Organising the distribution of masses and volumes in order to establish both companies and their various buildings: offices, mailing unit and warehouse.
The offices, visible from the ZAC's roads, represent the interweaving of two volumes (the two companies) and give the program an airy connotation. Despite being the project's smallest buildings, they set the tone for the entire complex.
To the north, the lofty, 12.5-metre-high warehouse remains hidden from the various viewing angles and displays a linear facade paced by the dock doors.
Functionally wise, vehicle traffic has been carefully studied, taking into account the imposing size of the loading trucks, the size of the docks, etc., while coordinating the program's visual impact.
