Commercial centre p.k.3 - Cholet (49 - France)

SET TARGET :
In-depth redevelopment of a shopping centre located on a site that suffers from a deficit of green open spaces, in compliance with the High Environmental Quality (HQE) criteria widely used by the city of Cholet, which is renowned as one of France's greenest towns.

THE SOLUTION OFFERED BY SUD ARCHITECTES :
As regards landscape, preserving and showing off to advantage the existing flora located on the banks of the Bodin stream. Creation of high-quality atmospheres with distinctive landscape elements on the car park, the planting of standards along the shopping mall and the installation of a living wall at the southern entrance. At the eastern entrance, the visitor is welcomed by a garden under a glass roof. In terms of architecture, a parallelepiped stretching out in three directions has been chosen, and to rehabilitate the facades, Danpalon was selected so as to meet the HQE criteria: solar and thermal insulation properties, light transmission, water tightness, recyclability, etc.
