Requalification of a deeply-changing Lyon neighbourhood, in line with its existing consistency and with the Town's policy.
THE SOLUTION OFFERED BY SUD ARCHITECTES :
Decision to develop a services and working area, in direct continuation of the morphological evolution of the neighbourhood. The development approach creates a temporal and spatial connection, at the very heart of the neighbourhood and with the adjacent areas. It coexists with modern buildings, which give priority to insulation (both sound and thermal) and to natural lighting, for the sake of energy efficiency. Space-wise, the block is located within an area that opens towards strategic, emerging neighbourhoods. Connections are thus reinforced by the establishment of a green meshing, of soft transport accesses and of sight openings. A logic of centrality appears, and the path through the neighbourhood is paced with breathing and events areas which give the neighbourhood its originality and consistency.
