SET TARGET :
Within the revamping of the La Sauvegarde site, designing for IBM a new building intended to replace an obsolete office block erected 30 years ago. Meeting the drastic requirements, particularly as regards the optimisation of the platforms.
THE SOLUTION OFFERED BY SUD ARCHITECTES :
This optimisation and this rigour have been integrated into the building's architecture: L-shaped and of low height (ground floor + 2 floors), its terracotta facades are syncopated by a rigorous geometry of solids and voids arranged so as to animate the whole complex. The project matches the other projects built on this site by the office (buildings for BNP, Scott and BASF) and preserves the landscape environment (100-year-old trees and plantations dating back to the previous construction), particularly by locating 60% of the parking spaces below ground.
