Infogrames - Lyon (69 - France)

SET TARGET :
Construction, on a site representative of the 19th century industry, of the global head office of a company emblematic of the 21st century that specialises in the production, publishing and distribution of video games and educational software.

THE SOLUTION OFFERED BY SUD ARCHITECTES :
Building on the world of navigation in order to both extend the history of the site (presence of the river Saône and its fluvial activity) and to embody the ideas of travelling and escaping that are part and parcel of Infogrames' activity. Thus, four of the six buildings are designed with a prow-like front which overlooks a lake located just outside the public park. Every detail of the ensemble suggests openness to the world and communication: a height of maximum one or two floors, large picture windows on the ground floor and huge facade sections intended for billboard advertising and projections. Awarded with the Prix d'excellence of the Promotelec Europtibat Label in September 2001.
