SUD ARCHITECTES - SUD GROUPE
PROJECTS Urbanism
Manufaktura - Lodz (Poland)

Transforming a former suburban industrial site, which was made into a city heart by the urbanisation process, into a city centre, thus reconciling the city with its past.
THE SOLUTION OFFERED BY SUD ARCHITECTES :
Phase one: an urban planning project consisting in the creation of a new square, or 'rynek', on the site of the former factory. Phase two - the architectural proposal itself: around this 'rynek', development of construction projects encompassing commercial, tertiary sector and leisure facilities which tie in with the existing architecture.
