SET TARGET :
Designing housing units within a deeply-changing neighbourhood, classified as an URM area.
THE SOLUTION OFFERED BY SUD ARCHITECTES :
Making the most of an exceptional location, along the Saône river. The construction gives priority to the orientation of the dwellings with respect to the Saône river, optimises surfaces and seeks a visual and environmental integration of the built section. Between the two 'G+5+attic' buildings that follow the river, the view opens up to the block heart and unveils a third building. At the centre, an open-ground garden offers a 'green lung' - a breathing space - to all the inhabitants. Lush gardens create a buffer zone between the ground floor flats and the public road. Most flats have access to both sides of the building, or benefit from a double orientation, so as to maximise their natural ventilation and lighting.
