Lafayette Islet Lyon Part Dieu (France)
Contexte & enjeux
This 57-m emergence at the intersection of two streets bustling with various public transport introduces the Part Dieu zone.
The project is designed as a homogeneous cluster despite its different blocks. It follows the limits of the land, with a center animated by pedestrian flows, vegetation and the distribution of light.
On Rue de la Villette, two residential buildings are located in alignment and at the corners of the plot. These two volumes rise above a base that is uniform in style, with stores and businesses on the ground floor and mezzanine.
A 9-story building in the South East is home to a young workers’ residence on the upper floors and a Diocesan center on the ground floor.
A 16-story building in the North East is home to owned housing and stores.
