Contexte & enjeux

Located in Songjiang, a district of Shanghai, the project concerns the revitalisation of a listed 19th century industrial wasteland. The former metal beam factories will be transformed into shops, exhibition galleries, restaurants and leisure facilities.

New modern buildings will be harmoniously integrated into the existing buildings and complete the functional offer of the site with offices, cinema, residential and hotel activities. This urban project is accompanied by numerous public pedestrian spaces that make Ledu City a destination for the entire Shanghai region.
