In Vigneux-sur-Seine, the housing project in the La Croix-Blanche neighborhood is part of an approach that carefully integrates with the existing urban fabric while establishing a direct connection to the future public park to the south. The complex comprises two volumes of differing scales: one asserts an urban presence along the street, while the other adopts a more domestic scale oriented toward the landscaped courtyard.

This composition creates a fluid transition between public and residential spaces, while enhancing views and visual connections. The fragmentation of the volumes and the setbacks at the top help lighten the building’s visual impact and maintain a scale appropriate to the context.

The architectural style draws on a palette of understated, durable materials—combining brick, light-colored stucco, and metal elements—that align with the neighborhood’s identity while asserting a contemporary aesthetic. The residences benefit from optimal orientation and a privileged connection to outdoor spaces.

The project places landscape at the center, with generous strips of open ground along the perimeter and a central courtyard designed as a true living garden. Plant-covered slopes, wetlands, and clearings create an environment conducive to biodiversity and climate comfort.

The development offers a resilient and sustainable living environment, balancing quality of use, urban integration, and environmental performance.
