PARKING GARE TGV Valence (France) - 2026

General presentation

Contexte & enjeux

The Valence TGV station multi-storey car park project responds to the growing saturation of parking capacity and aims to create a two-storey structure offering 400 additional spaces as well as a new area dedicated to rental companies.

Located on a site with significant constraints, the project adopts an architectural approach based on simplicity, clarity and integration into the landscape.
The deliberately compact structure preserves the view of the station and retains an existing line of trees, enhanced by new open ground areas.
The architecture is designed to be discreet: no screen facades, a light steel-concrete structure, sleek railings and a roof treated as a fifth facade thanks to photovoltaic shade structures covering more than half of the slab.
The central pedestrian access, open and bright, secures the walkways from the station.

Finally, a north pavilion completes the complex, housing the rental services and the operations room, in a simple style combining wood, stone and transparency.
