REHABILITATION OF THE NEW HOTEL DE LA POSTE IN MARSEILLE

SUD architectes is proud to present the progress of the construction site of the "→ rehabilitation of the Nouvel Hôtel de La Poste in Marseille" 🌞

Located at 19 rue Henri Barbusse in the first district of Marseille, the former Post Office building was built in 1938 by architect Auguste Marie Joseph Bluysen, to whom we owe notably the Grand Rex in Paris, to serve as an annex to the Colbert Central Post Office which had become too cramped.

Arkadea, born of the merger of Icade and La Poste Immobilier, wanted to redevelop this unique building, which is listed as a historical monument, by setting up offices and a coworking space on the first floor.
The newspaper La Provence will leave its historic headquarters in the 15th arrondissement of Marseille to set up its new headquarters there.

Delivery is scheduled for September 2023!
