Start of work on the new French Embassy in Doha, Qatar

SUD architects is proud to announce the start of work on the → new French Embassy in Doha, Qatar.
The uniqueness of this project lies in its bioclimatic architecture, the result of a process of reflection, right from the competition, to adapt the programme to the climate and harmonise it with the surrounding landscape in a secure setting. The plot has been designed as a landscaped living space.
This approach can be seen in the siting and design of the buildings, which provide protection from the heat, the choice of appropriate materials and claddings, and above all the layout of a large linear garden featuring a selection of landscape species and optimum water management.
Completion is scheduled for 2025.
