VARSAW CENTRAL STATION Varsaw (Poland) - 2016

General presentation

Contexte & enjeux

Creation of the concept for the renovation of the Warsaw Central Station, one of the largest in Poland and a symbol of modern Polish architecture from the 1970s.
The concept concerns the renovation of the main hall, the access corridors and the commercial passage.
The aim is to restore the main hall to its former glory by creating a mezzanine in addition to the existing mezzanines. These spaces will offer waiting and rest areas as well as shops and restaurants. The ground floor of the main hall will also house shops.
Finally, the project involves the renovation of the eastern and northern underground galleries to facilitate access and offer shops.
