Contexte & enjeux

On the historic site of Gerland in Lyon, the Aguettant Laboratories have acquired a new head office and a new production unit.
Water, the raw material of Aguettant Laboratories’ activity and a symbol of life and purity, has become a meaningful element.
Clear reading of the buildings and functions. Fluidity of interior and exterior spaces.
Unity of treatment and choice of simple materials such as glass; the buildings play on transparency and purity around white and blue and reinforce our approach to a broader programme based on the theme of “life sciences”.
The project involves the creation of two separate buildings:
– an office building with a ground floor + attic, located to the west of the site, including an RIE on the ground floor
– a ground floor laboratory, comprising: operating offices to the north (ground floor + 2 floors) and logistics to the south.
