LES PORTES DU TARN Saint-Sulpice et Buzet-sur-Tarn (France) - 2018
General presentation
Contexte & enjeux
In the immediate vicinity of the highway 68 exit, the project is set against the motorway embankment to open up towards the Great Tarn Landscape.
Taking advantage of the slope, the commercial and leisure spaces are spread out over three levels in successive tiers.
The buildings are contained within a simple and recognisable geometric shape, while the interior of the centre opens onto four generous open-air cells.
These central courtyards, with their curved and welcoming shapes, allow the identification of four very different atmospheres, enriching the experiential journey of the customers: aquatic, playful, sporty and Zen.
The commercial units, with their high windows, are arranged along these undulating pedestrian malls, enhanced by a series of pavilions and kiosks.
