NDU MEDICAL CENTRE Beirut (Lebanon) - 2016
General presentation
Contexte & enjeux
Notre Dame de Louaize University is a pioneer in all fields of education. In order to accommodate a teaching and medical practice sector, it decided in 2013 to create a University Hospital.
The site of the future hospital is located in the extension of the axis serving the university located on the top of a hill and from which its vertical integration follows.
The accommodation is turned towards the landscape and thus provides rooms with a view.
The facades are protected from the strong luminosity of this region by a set of white concrete profiles. The project with its simple and clear openwork volumes clinging to the hill evokes Mediterranean architecture.
