SAINT-PAUL PARK Saint-Paul-lès-Romans (France) - 2015
General presentation
Contexte & enjeux
Architectural ambition, a concern for the customer experience, a sense of detail, and a concern for sustainability make this a truly innovative place to live and shop… Designed in perfect synergy with its environment, Parc Saint-Paul blends contemporary architecture with a particularly well-kept landscape. The omnipresent vegetation guides and accompanies customers for a pleasant walk full of surprises.
Its elliptical, open and friendly architecture is built around a unique sheltered pedestrian path and an aquatic garden that hosts the restaurant terraces. The programme offers a mix of attentions, surprises and attractive signs in an exceptional landscape and architectural setting: 510 trees and 6,500 shrubs have been planted, anchoring nature at the heart of the project.
Parc Saint-Paul is thus designed around the strong idea of creating a quality space that is innovative, friendly and accessible to all.
Winner of the 2015 CNCC Trophy, “Sustainable development approach” category.
