THE “V” OF VICTORY !

SUD architects won the competition for →the Laruns balneo-sports pool in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region.
Broadly open to the wider landscape, the project blends harmoniously into a heterogeneous urban fabric by reinterpreting vernacular codes and choosing simple, functional, evolving geometries to meet the programme's energy and environmental ambitions.
The sports and leisure pools are housed in a large hall that naturally follows the curves of the Gave d'Ossau river.
The wellness and balneotherapy area offers a wide range of uses and visitors on different paths with a privileged panoramic view of the Pic de Ger and the Ossau and Valentin valleys.
